Ginge emerged from their own little world to say
But how much less? Is it measured at the molecular level, in mm or microns?
Is there still a distinct grey zone like pre-1974 when Monmouthshire sat on
    the fence?

  2. Last I heard, Western overlanders were getting quite a lot of hassle
going through Iran, and that was before the current idiocy.
Thence Tibet or Nepal or Bhutan ... hmmm... somehow I don't see a
ShiteOldEndfield or Rickshaw making it. Mind you, the roads there aren't
as bad as they used to be by all accounts.

On balance, best go turban shopping, iwt.

    In the *post*?

Surely a SKoGA has to be collected in person?

    Send him the directions.

I assume you're referring to "Robin Hood", although I've never seen the
    film.

One of the locations used in the making of that film (for something
along the lines of "Ah, 'tis good to be back in England again" when
arriving in Portsmouth), is actually a place called Sycamore Gap, near
where we go climbing (or falling), in the very wilds of Northumberland.

Just thought you'd like to know that.

Actually, it was a fucked-up reference to Peter Pan: "Straight on 'til
    morning" stylee.

    It worked for me, OK?
    You're very kind.

Kevin Costner actually stands at the foot of the tree and says something
close to, "We're 10 miles from my father's estate [in Nottingham] I could
find my way home with my eyes closed".

Of course he _is_ an illiterate yank and "Nottingham" and "Northumberland"
have got a lot of the same letters in, so you can't blame him.
I already did. What's even worse is that I know because I watched the film
and thought, "Hang on, that's Sycamore Gap up by Crag Lough".
