A bikie wouldn't ask this question.
    The rest do.

A Motorcyclist rides a BMW, or Ducati

    A Motorcycle/Bike rider rides a Jap Bike

A Bikie rides a Harley or Old Triumph

A Biker rides a Jap Harley Clone

So what do you call the sub-599cc-Jap-riding folk then?
Bikelets... bikelings... motoddlers? You're ignoring a big demographic!

Just read a book by a professor who focused on the bikie gangs in good ole
    Oz. he says;
Bikie - belongs to outlaw gang

Biker - same credo as bikies but without membership or their bull shit
    politics.

Motorcyclist - ummmm some one who rides a motorbike. mainly on weekends

Bike Rider - someone who uses their bike as primary mode of transport, rain,
    hail or shine.

    Personally I don't really care.
Ride when you want to ride.

The Brotherhoods by Art Veno? A good read, tends to bignote himself a bit,
some facts pulled out of his arse but not bad overall...

Yep that's the one. He did tend to rabbit on a bit, putting alot of tags on
himself. But it gave a interesting account on the history of outlaw clubs.

Motorcyclist = people who ride bikes, possibly enjoy it

Motorcycle rider = someone who rides a bike, like a postie, may just do it
because they cant afford a car, scooters etc

Bike rider= no power, pushbike rider, generally kids who dream of becoming a
    motorcycle rider.

Biker= Motorcyclist that is productive member of society, aka I have a job

Bikie, un-useful member of society, links to OMCG's (outlaw motorcycle
gangs), generally Harley riding, bearded jolly big blokes who beat the snot
out of people for riding between them, then demand your cloths your boots
    and your motorcycle.

I have spoken, let it be so...

If you had a 594cc bike, would that make you a 99%-er?

  14. Don't I remember you starting to ride? That means you've been
riding less time than me, and therefore qualify as "newbie"!

Where do Buells, Aprillias and MotoGuzzis come in? What about the rest of
    the oddities?

So you looking for inclusive humour, OK lets try,

A Buell is really a Harley that is tired of dragging its knuckles around
    corners.

Aprillias fall into the same category as Ducati's

Moto Guzzis are an Italian bike with a bad attitude and are half way between
    a Harley & Ducati.

This is supposed to be funny so I guess a few smilie faces are required.
    :) ;-)
