What is it about Hereford?

So, oddly, I seem to be looking at sidecars and related crap on ebay a
    lot lately.

Why are so many of them in Hereford?

    For example:

    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Jawa-350-moto...ryZ25632QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Ariel-VB-600-...goryZ424QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

That's three out of about 50 items on ebay this evening.

The last one's got my bidding finger twitching but I must restrain
myself. Still, flogged the mini today so that's one vehicle less to
    worry about.

It's the SAS mate. They don't get enough kicks out of shooting people,
so they up their adrenaline levels by trundling around on outfits.

Mad fuckers, the lot of them.

However, to answer your query, there seems to be a healthy interest in old
bikes in/near Herefordshire. Someone posted a link to the theft of some
classic bikes from Kilcot last week. There's a club of old duffers that
meet every week at a pub in Much Marcle. In the summer they are joined by
loads of power ranger types plus some Petelesque nutters with NOx tuned
bikes. The long straights on the Ross to Ledbury road make for some
entertaining sounds as they approach the pub. IIRC it is on Wednesdays,
can't remember the name of the pub but it is on the X roads in the centre
of Much Marcle. opposite Weston's[1] Garage

[1] yes, they also own Weston's cider just around the corner, which may
    explain some of the lunacy
