What I learned this week. Semi-OT.

If you're going to buy a telly - don't buy one a bit like darsy's; buy
the same size. Then it will be sent by a reputable courier firm, and
not the misbegotten offspring of a failed US railway company.

Said outfit left a torn piece of paper on the doormat on Thursday -
not a card - this was apparently to inform me that they had tried to
deliver said TV on three consecutive days.

Following a very shouty phone call to A**r*k, and a more restrained
one to the vendor, it is now being delivered tomorrow morning, or it's
going straight back to Bolton.

If your Blackbird dislikes starting on cold damp mornings - get a new
battery. MDS at least use a sensible courier - the ones who marooned
Tom Hanks on a desert island, so they're not all bad - and all's now
hunky-dory. Varta, it is - came with a sealed acid pack, and then you
tap home the top cover to seal the battery. Very tidy, and pretty good
value.

The alarm going off during swapover was not much fun, though. =8-0

GL1500 was a reluctant starter - judging by the popping and farting
once it did get started, those Splitfire plugs are overdue a trip to
Bin City.

CBX wouldn't run at all - it would start, but stopped almost
immediately. On charge, atm.

Oh, and all three bikes do fit into a tidied up garage.
