'If you are a motorcycle rider and enjoy the company of other riders,
you don’t want to miss this event. It’s a truly unusual and
privileged ride that takes place on a runway at Washington Dulles
    International Airport.'

    Ooh, how exciting.

'This commemorative ride allows us to show our patriotism by remembering
the Heroes whose lives were taken on that fateful day.'

Since when was being a victim changed to being a hero? Oh, I'm
forgetting - this is the same country that gives its soldiers medals for
being shit enough to be shot by the enemy...
    That looks fun.

And then has a cheek to make films which bear no resemblance to what
    actually happened ... U-571 anyone.

  5. Sorry to disappoint, but nothing of the sort happened. Andy had some
strong opinions on the European Standards testing process, based on his
own experiences, which I consider I was able to equally robustly
counter. I also learned a lot from what he had to say about the
manufacturer's perspective in the USA. Much of it I had already heard
from European manufacturers and distributors back in the 1990s, which
can ordinarily be put down to lack of understanding or "red herrings",
but there are unique national quirks.

If it helps you to track down the segment, the running order was Dr.
Alcorta, David Thom, Liz de Rome, then Andy Goldfine and finally me. We
all had to give a ten minute presentation, so I'll leave you to do the
    math. :)

I like those, but the price is breathtaking. And if they're trying to sell
them to the yanks at $80K a pop, maybe they want to think about videos that
weren't filmed through a string vest.
    Scary. Err...
Don't think we don't appreciate it.

  8. Whatever happened to their marketing? Many years ago they were
going to set up production in Poland, but I've not heard any further.
Anything made in Winterthur isn't going to stimulate the mass market!
Hmm, yes, dead as a doornail.
    München, Oktoberfest!

Can you do a quick summary or tell us which bits to watch as I've got
better things to do than watch 9 hours of WMV.

I'm quite confident in saying that Nobody stuck to their 10 minutes
and Andy Goldfine had to be told to shut up as he was going on for so
long. And he didn't appear to write his speech either as he can't say
    the words.

As Paul can't find it, he starts at 8h 8h if you wish to look at his
    ugly mug.

  12. My run through the standards for seminars, bike club nights, etc
(bookings can be made via the usual email address), is ordinarily about
40 minutes long. The Q&A session afterwards can be anything from one to
in excess of two hours. So, trying to condense that into just ten
minutes for NTSB was tough to achieve and inevitably meant a lot of
    material was omitted.
You are both all heart and hearless in one sentence. :)
