What duz Ping mean

  1. Some people use Google or another web-based reader while away from
home because it's quicker and easier than installing/configuring a
dedicated newsgroup browser just to check a few posts. Along the same
lines, I have a dedicated e-mail program that I use at home, but I use
the "Cox Webmail" browser-based e-mail reader when I'm on the road.
It doesn't have all the bells and whistles of my dedicated newsreader,
but for checking e-mail on a public terminal or on someone else's
computer while I'm away from home, it's fine.

  3. Of course, you're assuming that he petitioned the board to have his
valuation RAISED. There's nothing in his post to warrant such an
    assumption.

  4. unlke you, I have no interest in being a "biker". that's a poser
phenomenon that people who've seen too many B movies aspire to be. they
wear the nifty leather vest and chaps but have no real MC club
affiliation or colors, and ride an HD look alike with no muffler,
pretending to be tough guys when they're actually weenies.

  6. Yep - with the Navy moving me around, I rented until I was 29. It was
the best option at the time, but when I think of all the rent I paid
with nothing to show for it afterwards, I'm glad to be in a house now,
actually gaining equity from my mortgage payments and the rising
    housing market.

My brother-in-law just recently bought his first house, and he was
kind of in "sticker shock" when he saw how much of his payments over
thirty years would go to interest. He joked about being able to buy a
Lamborghini for what the house would cost him over thirty years. I
gave him an example to put it in perspective for him:

In 1999, my house was about the same price as a Mercedes S600
(~$120k). Six years later in 2005, my house's value has gone UP to
about $220K, but a 1999 S600 is now worth about $35K. That made him
feel better about the money he was spending on his house.

You're lying and being very stupid again, Albert.
Only a very few gossipy fools are on "your side" of
your juvenile Walker bickering and spam fest.
And of course, the fact that I don't share your insane
and crippling obsession with the Walkers, or your intense
hatred for them, doesn't mean I'm on their side. That's even
dumber than bu$h claiming that anyone who doesn't support
his war crimes, torture, and terrorism, supports the 9-11
    hijackers.
Your extreme all or nothing, black and white world appears
rather restrictive and silly to your many betters.
And moto hasn't been around for quite a while. Given
the severely limited "real estate" that's available inside
your thick skull, you would do well not to let him occupy
    so much of it. <chuckle>
I don't side with you, moto, or the Walkers. I side with
truth and integrity, which of course, is definitely not on
    your side... <vbg>

In September and October 2003, McClellan said he had spoken
directly with Rove about the matter and that "he was not
involved" in leaking Plame's identity to the news media.
McClellan said at the time: "The president knows that Karl

that's the whole issue about "paper CNE's" and "paper MCSE's". people
who have certs that are incompetent to actually cut loose unsupervised
to do the work. some crash course to learn the test long enough to pass
it but without the real skills or foundation to apply any knowledge to
the dynamics of a real world environment.

No thanks.. Lightweight.. Not much of interest for me in Philadelphia..
especially where you are concerned.. hmm.. Last time I flew into that
airport there, it was comparable to the nightmare in Atlanta.. hehehe.. You
just don't seem to make the connection, do you.. It's not an issue with me
about what all you have or don't have.. The issue seems to be all important
to you, though.. Might consider it an obsession for someone to try as hard
as you've done to make it believable..

The effort to put all that responsibility on someone to fly up there and
prove/disprove that nonsense is typical Nurick, except that he is too close
to me, to take that chance.. After all, I've made a few trips to Houston
that he's aware of.. ROTFL.. Real generous of you, though..to think I'd be
affluent enough to throw away that kind of money on airfare for such a
ludicrous proposition .. Just think.. earlier you were talking about me
being destitute, or something.. hehehe.. Yup.. you and Nurick.. two of a
    kind..

before you were born, been riding one ever since.. All without benefit of a
computer.. I make good coffee and everything.. ROTFL

Reads more like this kid is getting hysterically desperate.. Sheesh.. he's
been in a "frenzy" (Nuricks words) and posting to guys he's got killfiled
and plonked, all day..I love it.. Did you see where he's offering to host a
visit to Philadelphia .. If they had a good Porterhouse up there, I might be
    tempted.. LOL
