Is this the sort of thing you've been looking for all these years?

This is pretty funky too - what fun blowing away WRX's from the lights
in your wiener-boy electric car (claimed[1] 0-100kph in under 4 sec):

Jeez, last time I saw one of those I was about 6 y/o and it was called a
    Messerschmidt Kabinen-Roller (Cabin Scooter)
    http://www.kabinenroller.de/

Didn't have the flashy wing though (even if it was an airplane-cockpit on
    wheels).
    :)
    cheers

There was an article in the Sydney Tele a couple of weeks ago about a
Messerschmitt Tiger for auction in Sinney. Expected to get about A$100,000
    for it.

  4. I actually went to look at them but it was a weekend and they were
shut! Seems a bit impersonal to me BT. Hydraulic gizmo's and
computers... seems so un-natural. I believe BM or Merc or someone were
    doing something similar.

    also these...

Rumour has it they still have problems with handling. I s'pose if they
were a viable solution every Ulyssian would have one!
Back to aus.cars with your Guzzi crushing contraptions!

Glitch's one with a Harley motor might be OK for pottering down the
shops on a rainy day tho'.

Ah well, sometimes you have to work with what you're given. Pity, it
    looked like it had potential...

We'll drink to future inventions in a month, eh? ;;-)
