Under my textile bike trousers I used to wear a pair of jeans, but recently found out the reason why I was struggling to get my foot to the ground was that I was fighting against the jeans. The jeans were riding down and restricting my leg movement. I wore the jeans simply so had something half decent underneath, should I need to take the bike trousers off when going walkabout. They even caused me some very painful muscle cramps fighting against them when trying to prop the stationary bike up. I have since taken to wearing a pair of thin above knee cotton shorts, which are very comfortable and cause me none of the problems. Next question... I have two textile jackets and three helmets. No matter what combination of jacket and helmet I wear, I find that the collar sometimes hooks onto some part of the helmet as I turn my head to look left and right at junctions. I cannot seem to be able to reproduce the problem when stationary, to work out what is latching onto what. Am I the only one who suffers this problem?
