What do the team think of home scratch repairs?

    Only I've now got scratches on the rear wheel arch of the nice new VW
    Golf due to a failure by "someone" to negotiate the entrance to the
    school gates. And I'd be interested to know if it's suited for a new
    car or better used for an older motor you were just about to sell.
