Making a grand total of 114 bikes and I've forgotten a few as well.

These bikes are just the ones I've owned for my own personal pleasure,
not including the others I bought and sold on for profit within a few
days, of which there are probably somewhere in the region of 40 to 50.

Ermm.. About a dozen of various shapes and sizes.

They broke enough that I couldn't be arsed to fix them.

    Varies from weeks to years.

"riding like a mong" is the phrase that comes to mind, as the person
    immediately behind...

Only vaguely, and the sportier one, as opposed to the lardy touring version.

The mille is behaving itself at the moment, though, so it might stay a bit
longer and possibly be joined by a supermoto. Or I might just say "**** it"
and get one of last year's R1s cheap. Whatever, I'm not so sure that I want
to keep the mille beyond the end of its warranty period, which expires in
October, which is a shit time to sell a bike, hence the potential early
    disposal

    Suzuki GP100 (Stolen)
    Suzuki GSX250
    Kawasaki Z400J (Threw a piston)
    Yamaha Diversion 600S
    <3 year break>
    Honda CBX750
    Yamaha Diversion 600S
Yamaha TRX850 & Honda CG125 (CG overlapped with the TRX and VFR)
Honda VFR800 & MZ ETZ300 (Still have both)

Of all the above, the one which I wish I still had was the CBX. It
needed a bit of a tidy, but was a cracking bike, IMHO.

Suzuki GP125 to learn on in 1983 having driven cages since 1966.
Katana 1100 - which is why learnt. Kept for 18 months then SWMBO
demanded its sale to pay for holiday. <hangs head in shame>
GPZ 900R bought 10 months after sale of Kat. Sold 13 months later to
impress Grays Magistrates to some avail...
    No bikes from 1988 to Dec 2003 then;
GSX 750F which means a welcome return to the fold.

No offs so must to be permanently in full wuss mode.

Am up at Ally Pally Thursday coming.

Nice euphemism, only prejudiced by the misleading size quoted.

1978 TS185c - crashed repeatedly, seized repeatedly, dismembered by
angle grinder late 2003, having not run since 1981.

1980 - KH250 - seized repeatedly, stolen, crashed, recovered, bodged
together, then seized again, before being *given* to the paperboy by
    my mother around 1985.

    1982 - Z750E1 - Crashed twice in a week[1,2], then stolen before the
insurance paid up. After I'd fitted Paioli shocks, and new tyres. :(

    1983 - Z650C2 - seized in S of France[3], never crashed - px'd for:

    1985 - GPZ750R - never crashed[4] - cams gave up the ghost so px'd
    for:

    1992 - CBR1000FL - crashed 3 or 4 times[5,6], sold to Mat Tab (RIP)
    for the wheels and exhaust.

    1997 - GL1500SE - only crashed the once, so far.[7]

1999 - CBR1100XXX - not crashed yet, though I did let it fall on me
    once.

    2000 - TS250C - not crashed - currently SORNed, undergoing
    restoration.

2002 - KH500A8 - not run often enough to crash or seize, surprisingly.

[1] T-boned by a GPO van on Blackfriars bridge Rd. Bent frame.
[2] Hit up the arse by a Morris Marina on the way to the '83 TT.
[3] Filled up with oil, and carried on.
[4] It did get reversed over by a French farmer whilst parked.
[5] Once whilst holding the brakes on to dry them after a jet wash,
then went over a wet manhole cover on Acton Lane - the week after
Honda UK had fitted all new body panels FOC. :(
[6] Once on ice @ <5mph, once tailgated by a Pug 205 at a roundabout
    in Bayeux.
[7] Thrown up the road in the wet @ ~35mph. Changed crash bars three
    years later. Otherwise unmarked.
