I've managed to wangle redundancy despite having another job lined up for months and so I've got quite a bit of cash burning a hole in my pocket. I want to by a brand new sports bike. If the "bit of cash" is big enough, an MV Tamburini. -- Krusty. http://www.muddystuff.co.uk http://www.muddystuff.us Off-road classifieds '02 MV Senna '03 Tiger (FOYRNB) '96 Tiger '79 Fantic 250
Is that colour faster than blue though? -- Ash UKRMFBC#8 BOTAFOT#82 BOTAFOF#41 HMC#5 FTB#0 Gone: ETV1000 Caponord http://www.theredline.co.uk "If everything seems under control, you're just not going fast enough." -- Mario Andretti
Ballistic wrote Everything is faster than Blue. The only thing faster than black is red. Although I understand recent re-interpretations of super string theory suggest that black may be not as we believe but in fact faster than red but it is all about a zillionth of a decimal point and uncertainty and stuff so all I can do is choose to believe it or not. So I am staying with red until they can explain it to me in ways I can understand.

Nope. They're ridden (or not) by scared puffs. -- Ash UKRMFBC#8 BOTAFOT#82 BOTAFOF#41 HMC#5 FTB#0 Gone: ETV1000 Caponord http://www.theredline.co.uk "If everything seems under control, you're just not going fast enough." -- Mario Andretti
I'd prefer something a little more mainstream as it needs to be reliable enough to take a few Euro trips each year. -- Ash UKRMFBC#8 BOTAFOT#82 BOTAFOF#41 HMC#5 FTB#0 Gone: ETV1000 Caponord http://www.theredline.co.uk "If everything seems under control, you're just not going fast enough." -- Mario Andretti
But yours is the in the sort of state that I would eventually inflict on it so you've taken all the fun out of it. I had an ER5 for a loan bike whilst the Capo was being serviced a couple of years ago. The damn thing nearly killed me. I was going over some solid white lines of raised paint when the spongy forks started to pogo left and right and the bars flapped out of my hands. I reached the point where I was resigned to bailing off the side and accepting the pain when it miraculously sorted itself out. -- Ash UKRMFBC#8 BOTAFOT#82 BOTAFOF#41 HMC#5 FTB#0 Gone: ETV1000 Caponord http://www.theredline.co.uk "If everything seems under control, you're just not going fast enough." -- Mario Andretti
Really? Supposed by whom? Certainly doesn't seem to have a good riding position for us normal-height people, so I don't imagine it being as good for me as the gixxer. -- _______ ..'_/_|_\_'. **** off, blue is fastest innit. When something is going at billions of m/s, it's the blue light that gets there first.
I would look at A BMW K1200S fast enough for most people with 167bhp and a great tourer. eats up autobahns and fast Spanish Motorways. Have a test ride and then tell me you didn't like it. Peter
