I like Jinx too.. because she was smart enough to remove the usenet
group that she reads, and just crosspost her response to the other
groups that she never reads, so that she wouldn't need to bother reading
the dribble that people posted in response.

  6. Here goes knobless yet again, referring to someones arse and what comes out
    of it
although I suspect he would be more interested in putting something into one

You're being just plain stupid now, George. You won't win a lot of
friends with such daft "humour". Grow a brain, George.

Agree. I think you ought to stop now before any sympathy people have
for you evaporates. That's if you are concerned about whether there is
any sympathy, that is. If not, then keep going with the vapid rubbish
    - who cares about it anyway?

  9. As long as the knobless one keeps making comments about myself and Gerry and
hides himself behind anonimity, ( as in he has "killfiled" Gerry and myself,
thus not seeing any replies we make about him ), then I will continue.
You seem to have taken up with knobless, therefore you can go wherever he is
I do not care about any "sympathy" as you call it.
The reference about my "daft humour" is not really humour, it is fact, that
is if you care to look back at his posts, he is obsessed with the rear end
of anyone, especially males and always makes a comment about it.
But, I guess that you, being his adoring fan club, will not see this.
If knobless can make nasty comments about Gerry and / or myself, then we,
Gerry and / or myself, are fully entitled to make whatever comments we like
    about him
knobless was first with a comment about me, calling me "Stupid George"
I didn't take any notice about that or other comments he thought of because
I was not taken in by his superior attitude to everyone.
His fan club giggled and smirked along with him, but then, why would I think
that they wouldn't agree with knobless, their almighty warrior and saviour.
knobless started off a post by stating
    " Have G&G killed aus.moto"
So you think that is a fine thing for him to post, yet when I reply to
something he says with a derogatory or qa smart-arsed remark,
you, of the knobless fan club, come down on me like a ton of bricks.
I would suggest that it is you who "Grow a brain" and have a look at the
path where you are being led.

Fair enough, it was only a suggestion anyway. You are fully entitled
to post where ever and whatever you like. Others (me included) are
entitled to take any view they like about what you say.

    Isn't democracy wonderful?

I don't think democracy is what Knobdribble has in mind. More like a
ruling class and the rest had better behave or else.

I feel sorry for George because he lets Knobdribble get to him and
then he blurts out silly things which Knobdribble then uses to bully
him even further. And Knobdribble thinks that's ok. Let's also
never forget that Knobdruibble and the rest of his bully brigade could
see nothing wrong with IK repeatedly inviting George to kill himself.

Those morons call that freedom of speech whilst trying to deny any
real freedom of speech to George or anyone else they've put on their
    blacklist.

And I'm getting pretty fed up with Knobdribble's sleazy campaign of
dogwhistling, lies, and distortion, in his mad attempt to get everyone
to killfile those he doesn't like.

    He's lost the plot, imho.

    Wot 'e said.

I've sort of browsed through this from time to time and it seems silly
to me that everyone feels the need to post about someone they don't
    like reading.

There's a brick wall over there. If hitting your head against it
    hurts, then stop.

I'm inclined more towards Clem's comments but I think both sides are
being silly. Let's talk about motorbikes. If you see a post from
someone you don't like, DON'T FUCKING READ IT.

Have a look through the posts coming up here. And look how many are
relevent to motorcycling. And then wonder why the posts are dropping
    away.

At least just let's all argue about Hatz's Ducati infatuation (that's
how you spell masturbation innit?) If nothing else it does refer to
    motorcycles.

  13. Kev and Johno,
While disagreeing with you, I agree with you
first Johno, what is the sense of even looking at a newsgroup at all if you
have everyone you don't like in a "killfile"?
Damn boy, that way, you will not see any posts at all and, as I said before
in a previous post, you will respond to something, which has already been
    replied to.
In other words, give an answer that has already been given, probably days
before, thus making you look a little foolish

in regard to Gerry not looking at what knobless posts,
it goes back to " know what the enemy is talking about"

Kev, there are a lot of things I don't agree, with in some of your posts,
but I have not made any derogatory remarks about them as you have not been
    nasty.

I have made some rough remarks about Johno's posts and they have been taken
by Johno is the light they were made
Why, he even put me on his "beer?" list once
    so there is a chance

I said I'm fed up with sleazy campaign of dogwhistling, lies, and
distortion, in his mad attempt to get everyone to killfile those he
doesn't like. Do try to actually UNDERSTAND what you're reading.
If you can't do that, then just go have another Coopers.
You're a barrel of laughs, you are.

Well, then read "wot I replied" and give that a bit more thought than
whatever prompted the "wot 'e said".

And if all we're going to get out of you is a partisan bit of
posturing, then, unless you're just playing to the gallery, you can
    save your breath.
This thing goes back a looooooong way.
Then you haven't really picked up on what the prick is really on
about, and you're just sucked in by his bullshit.
Possibly right, but don't make the mistake of thinking it's as simple
as you're making it out to be. If all you're going to do is "sample"
the broader issue, then you'll have no idea about what's really been
    going on.
It's not at all about the evils of going off-topic. If it were,
there'd be no one left on Clems' killfile and he'd even have to
    killfile himself.
Scuse me... I can only ever decide whether I like a post (or not)
    BY READING IT !!!

It's not at all about the evils of going off-topic.
What you're seeing at the moment is a mere blip in the time continuum.
Most of the shit you're complaining about is just Clem's latest stunt
blowing up in is face. ( And now he's trying to lay the blame for that
    at others' feet too.)

Go look at the last six months (for instance) and THEN tell me how
many posts were relevant to motorcycling.

If you think there were too many OT posts (in the last six months)
have a look at who initiated them.

And by the way, I totally refute your insinuation that going OT is
VERBOTEN. If it were, and you killfiled people for that reason, you'd
all have killfiled each other a long time ago.

  16. I'm not against OT. This is a group for people who have a common
interest and are thereore more likely to have other common interests.
It makes sense. But when the bulk of the posts start to generate into
discussions like this one then a lot of people are going to lose
interest and go to other places to get their info. Why voluntarily
    open yourself to abuse?

I came into this group in 1996 and there was a lot more discussion and
most of it about motorcycles. Yes, there tended to be a closeknit
group of regulars, but that happens in any group, be it workplace,
school, etc. I don't have to like you. But I also don't have to
tolerate abuse by you. Most people under those circumstances choose to
switch out of that environment and I think that can be part of the
loss of posts here. I've seen the same case on our music forum where
there is a certain group of art-school musos we call indie cunts. They
have quite a belligerent attitude and beride young musos coming onto
the scene with "your music is sshit". Eventually these people just
give up and take their music and discussion elsewhere leaving the
forum with the reputation of being an abusive environment as it's only
the abusive people or people with really thick skins that can be
bothered sticking around. It ends up not representing a true cross
section of musicians here in Hobart.

I usually go by the credo of "don't say anything to someone online
that you aren't prepared to say to their face". But a lot of people
claim that is what they are doing anyway. I usually see a different
attitude when they do come together though. Hobart's music scene is a
good microcosm to see that theory under test as there are regularly
gigs where the opposite ends of the spectrum have to be in the same
room as each other, without choice.

But I still go back to my original point that usenet is dropping away
    anyway.

And don't tell me I'm sucked in by your perception of Clem. I'm a
grown-up and can make my own mind up about Clem thank you.

Watch it ogden that perverted californian might start stalking you to!
He's a chickenhawk (look it up) so I'd buy some soap on a rope, avoid
the showers late a night etc, etc I mean next thing he'll be doing is
asking if you want to double date with some sheep. If you know what I
    mean...

Oh and the best things in life have two wheels and fat failures from
california who got fired by Grumman becuase they wouldn't vacume out
LEM 1 are the kind of ignorant failures in life that try to beat the
successes in life like you down.
