I wouldn't mind a modest flutter on Cheney 'deciding' in 2005 or 2006 that
his health comes first, and standing down as VP. Then Bush has to nominate
a new VP, as Nixon nominated Ford when Agnew had to resign. Who 'better'
than dear Jeb, who handed W the stolen goods of the Florida election last
time? Yes, it would have to be approved by the Senate - but the Senate *is*
Republican.

 

I wonder if he can tie his own shoelaces.
