What a nice day.....

....for a ride up through rural Lancashire, into the Dales, up to the
Altberg factory, down to the Black Sheep brewery, then home - after a good
    blast along the A59.

To the squids in the Dales, I hope you managed to clean the shit out of
your leathers. Overtaking on a blind crest - twat!

To the berk in the Boxter- learn to drive, FFS!

Altberg - great chaps. Nice bootees - just got to break them in, now. ;-)

Oh - I think I got a peg down, too. Bit of an achievement, for a slow boy
    like me... :-/

Why not? The OP was full of negativity.

    Hmm.....

5 comments, 2 "negative", 3 positive in my post.

I guess you believe in the minority ruling the roost....

Ah, yes - the standard Bear response to a return of serve. Pretty much
    what I expected, unfortunately.

There were plenty of positive comments you could have made, but you have
    to try to pick holes.

Does the fact that I had a good day out bother you?

Maybe I forgot to add some sort of smiley at the end of my criticisms, but
I don't know the one that represents the slight smile that accompanies a
chuckle and a murmur of "you silly buggers".

Did you have a bad Saturday? If so, it wasn't my fault; take it out on the
    cause and stop blaming others.

Be nice - you may find you like it. :)

    Good. :)
    I'm like that...
    A favourite word, I see.... :)
Is that what it was? Well, something new I've learned, today.....

I'm curious as to how you can not be sure.

That said, I got /something/ down yesterday on a nice sweeping left
hander - it wasn't the peg though, maybe the centre stand; Tog/Ace,
what's likely to ground out first on the LHS of a 400 four?

Well, I was out yesterday gently [1] bedding in the new front pads,
when some myopic twat pulled straight out on me.

Hmm, cheers mate, as the lever comes practically to the bar as I
desperately try to get the new pads to bite.

Yes, I made it, so I won't bother posting it ;-)

    Cheers

    Paul.

[1] Didn't want to glaze them up. [2]
[2] Is this an old wives tale now, in view of sintered/kevlar pads ?

I was concentrating on a tricky bit of road. I felt a kick against my left
foot, similar to the last time I got a peg down...... on a cruiser....
    :-/

TBH, I thought I was going to get my elbow down, too..... closely followed
by my arse, my shoulder and the rest of me. ;-)
Most probably the centre stand, IWHT
