....brakes that work make. I didn't have the time for a full strip of the Bandit's front brakes (as per previous posts the travel was notchy and was moving in chunks of travel - which was very odd, and tricky at low speed to control well). I've taken the callipers off and got some spray brake cleaner, pushed the pistons out a little and cleaned them the best I could. I was going to use petrol, but the manual says under no circumstances to use petrol, but, I've used petrol loads of times before (quite a few years ago now), so what's changed? And what a difference, you don't realise how bad [1] they were until they are better. They still aren't perfect yet, but they can now wait until I get some time. So sticky pistons it was then. [1] still pretty good really, but nothing in comparison to them now.
