    Heheh, we used to do the Mablethorpe sand races occasionally.

    Once did them on a GS1000 engined outfit.

    Most excellent fun. ;)

    Dunnno, I was passenger. ;)

    Yeah, converted road-racing outfit, 12" hand cut slicks, tried to shape
    them like tractor grooves. TBH it was shite, just kept digging in, far
    too much power and weight.

    We also raced a Honda XR 250R and a Honda CR 250.

    The CR was best, the XR very close in times, probably more down to
    riders than bikes as the XR (four stroke Enduro) had nice useable power.
    The CR (full-on Motocross) was a bit too peaky for the deep sand, but
    extremely fast on the striaghts, though the track when we ran was mostly
    just a large, elongated Oval.
