Well, you might as well know now

  1. Too late. :-( I've just re-discovered that the kitchen floor is
white, not grey. And I've cleaned most of the raw egg from around the
front door -- I thought I'd get a reaction when I put an Aussie flag in the
front window last weekend, but I didn't expect an egging. Poor losers,
    those Poms...

    following:
I serviced all my bikes regularly and used to be able to swap out two
sets of front brake pads in about ten minutes. Oil and filter changes
could be done at the same time as the plugs which used to take 20
    minutes or so.
I had the UKRM bandit for such jollies but at almost the same time I
bought it, the distance work plummeted. Go figure.
When I stopped doing it 3 or 4 years ago, the blokes at Premier were
still only earning a 3 pound minimum, which is fucking dire. Courier
Systems were only paying 3.50 who were the last outfit I worked for,
Graham at Connections was the worst at 2.80 and the best were a bunch
that came out of Wapping and that was a fiver.

Cheers. I have a feeling I'm going to be needing at least one cab for
the rest of next week ;-)
