You misunderstand, it's all in good nick but there's an N400, N800 and
some clothing, boots and old gloves in there that I've used.

The clack was the sound of dominos falling.

3 1/2 years old and 130,000 miles, but in excellent condition with not a
dent and barely a scratch on it - inside it's immaculate. I have looked
after it over the 100,000 miles I've done in it. As VW Golfs go it's
proper pikey spec, but I can't fault the build quality or reliability of
    it.

All will be taken care of. Any special requirements? SMS me, my
email is fucked at the moment as TalkTalk are a bunch of useless,
incompetent, money-grabbing bastards who are about to lose an account.
I got that. Never mind, we're all going to get pissed at the company
pub on Thursday, at the company's expense. In vino veritas and all
    that...

I had a go at dispatch riding, once. I quite enjoyed it, apart from
that dreary haul back up the M11.

    Unfortunately I wasn't very good at it and a shagged-out XS750 wasn't
the ideal hack for the job. I lasted about a month.

Oh, welcome to my Gentlemen Of Leisure Club, BTW.

  11. Quite a few people here have.

I earned a living at it, but that was 25 years ago, before the fax was
widespread, never mind the interwebthingy. I don't think the rates
payable now have exactly kept pace with inflation.

Ye gods you have lost your sense of humour haven't you. There was a
time when you would be back quick as you like with a resounding "****
off", you are not getting old are you? I tried that once, it's no fun I
can tell you so I am not doing it again. Take it from one who knows,
carry on being childish and irresponsible.
