I put the ZXR400 onto a bike forum for sale section last night, and
I've had an amazing response and two immediate offers to purchase!
Perhaps I should've pitched it higher than 1200 after all..

Which forum was that? I've got my SO's ZZR250 to get sold soon, and I'd
rather deal direct than put it on ebay.
    Cheers for any info.

The 400 grey bike forum, I wasn't expecting a response at all. If the
deal doesn't go through on the first offer I've got more people to
    email before resorting to Autotrader.

    <thread hijack>

There's a 1979 CBX for sale in ott.motorcycles if your brother is
    interested.

$4000 Canadian (about £1600 in real money)

That's very nice, but what bit of UK RM do you not understand?

I doubt it, he's got a few commitments atm and that amount of money is
a bit more than he would be looking for.

Plus his leathers don't fit him any more ;o)

No worries, grumpy old man tonight.

I'm giving serious thought to going to have a look at it. I like them
a lot and it appears I could easily sell it back in the UK next year.

It helps that my employer will pay the shipping :)

    cheers
