Well that was a bit of a wash out

Went to the Beaulieu "Motorcycle World" thing today. Weather looked
dodgy and since I was taking my son I took the car.

The heavens opened. Completely and utterly washed out.

Didn't get time to go through crap for hours on the stalls, most
    disappointing.

Saw the wall of death for the first time. I was rather impressed,
especially at the noise that a CD175 makes in an enclosed space sans
    silencers.

  2. I was too, first time I saw one. especially at the way the floor (or
walls) flex as the bike goes round and round.

Yes. I think it moved by a couple of inches. It was manned by a real
    performer.

He was riding a 20s Indian that didn't sound like it was running that
smoothly; popping and farting so I was rather impressed at his riding it
under those conditions. Then when he sat on the handlebars, sat side
saddle (facing down!) all whilst the bike is 8 or so feet off the ground
going around this wooden wall... well, I was very impressed.
