Well, that blew away the cobwebs

Ridden the bike for the first time this year.

It's still a bit cold out there.

Some numpty binned what looked like a 10R on the Merthyr to Brecon road.

There's lots of shit around on the unclassified roads - gravel and mud
    still much in evidence.

However, I've just done around 100 miles around the local mountain roads
and it's reminded me why I have a bike.

Did you stop and ask what had caused the accident and if not how do
you know it was his fault?

Your automatic assumption that anyone who crashes a sports bike can't
ride it is about as pathetic as the assumption that anyone who doesn't
ride their bike throughout the year is a lightweight wanker.

Good point. I'd made the assumption that it was self inflicted as there
was no evidence of any other damaged vehicles around. Just a big green
Kawasaki lying in the grass verge with a missing front end.
    Heh.

I just had the boy, now 6, out for his 1st proper run with the B12 and
Irene took her 11y/o son on the GS500. It was the first warm leathers
and T-shirt day here for a looooong time. I didn't see any binned 10R's
    unfortunately.

    I wouldn't describe Foz as a numpty.

The other two you're thinking of are both idiots but that really
    doesn't need pointing out.
