Cheers for all your advice regarding the cheap Chinese copy bikes. I went ahead & ordered the off road
dirt bike & it arrived today.

    A few things to note.

The quality is better than I expected, some rough welds & utterly shite plastics.

It went together very easily with no real problems despite no instructions. It did come with a full
manual including all maintenance details etc. It also came with a parts manual!!!

I went round it checking nuts & bolts & everything felt fine.

The only problem I can see is the fact it's miles too small!!!! It's for a small person really & I cant
even use the rear brake my foots as such an angle!!! I did ask when purchasing the size etc, but alas I
fear the person I was talking to was Chinese!!! ;) So full size to them is very different to me!!! Ho-hum

But that apart it's not bad at all for £550 delivered, shame it's off back on eBay tonight!

I reckon I'll have to bite the bullet & get summat like this, any views on this please folks?

Why are you asking for advice again, when you didn't take a blind bit of
notice of the advice you were given the first time round?

Nice but not road legal. Not necessarily a problem but will cost if you
want to get it registered etc.

It will probably go like stink. My mate had a YZ490 we used to go up the
Chalk Pits[1]in Brighton on. That was the first bike I ever crashed :)

[1] R.I.P. They demolished it to build what's now the A23 dual
    carriageway.

Despite the advice. Your line length is unacceptably long.

You're a fuckwit on two counts so far.
You punctuate like an overexcited teenage girl. Three.
    Name above sig sep. Four.
    Fucked sig sep. Five.
Six, seven and eight - you're out.

    Just **** off, eh?

Hi, cheers for the sensible reply, i sat on one today & it does seem a decent bike size wise. I havent
had a bike in years & fancied trying it out again. I'm never gonnna ride onroad anyway, so this would be
    fine!

    thanks again

Has someone upset you Nige? You really don't want to, you know. Life's too
short. A bit like your new bike really.
Now, now. No need to let your self esteem drop, it won't make the bike feel
    any bigger.

Heh , try actually ordering any though.

Did you want road legal or not?

If you do , a DT125 or XR125 would be worth a look.

The DT is certainly big enough

This kind of stuff is UKRM at its worst. An unwarranted OTT verbal assault
on some poor unsuspecting sod. Frankly, those who are hung up on issues
such as punctuation or line length need to get out more. I know it can seem
like fun to gang up on a newbie to this group and try to provoke a reaction
but sometimes it just looks like unnecessarily vicious bullying - the sharks
smell blood in the water and go on a feeding frenzy.

  20. So you come here asking for advice, but when you get it you don't like
it and do your own thing anyway.

And you have the nerve to call *us* cunts.
