....Guzzi fuel warning light, him speak with forked tongue!

First time I've run out of fuel in *years* and no, I don't usually
rely on the little yellow lamp. Last time I refueled the Guzzi, I
didn't have enough cash for a full tank and forgot *not* to reset the
trip meter, then over the following couple of weeks, forgot that I'd
only part- fueled the bike. Dickhead.

It takes you a couple of weeks to empty a part filled tank?. Evaporate
    quick does it?

Not what I would call it.

Heh. 'Tis true I haven't been riding so much lately.

In my defence Yeronner, the Guzzi trip meter was reading about 190
miles at the time. I also have two other road bikes on the go, not to
mention a motocrosser. I do use them all, if only to keep disks clean
    and seals lubed.

Oh, you've noticed this too, have you? I blame the mild weather we've
    had until now.
Er, what *would* you call it?

Opinions cost money laddie and like petrol they are a complete waste of
time if you don't use them.

I think you missed the point of my other post: I have three road bikes
on the go. Assuming I use them equally (which I don't), then each one
only does one third of my total mileage in a given period.

Actually, thinking back, I don't think I've done as much as 190 miles
in two weeks on the Guzzi so it was probably longer ago that I last
fueled it. I've certainly used it the last couple of weekends for odd
shopping runs, but I've also used the TLR at least once and the FZR a
    couple of times.

The 'crosser had an outing last Saturday, though that may be the last
for quite a while because I don't want to risk another leg injury
having *finally* been accepted for the London Marathon.
