  2. If you think that this animal bears any resemblance to the Tories of
MacMillan and Heath, then you obviously don't have a clue what you're
    talking about.

The problem is that democracy is once again revealed not as the best
system, but as the 'least worst'.

France will live to regret the day that this 'clone of le Pen' was given
    the keys to the Elysée.

For two hundred and eighteen years, this country has (imperfectly most
of the time) striven to observe the tenets of 'liberté, égalité,
fraternité'. No more. From now on, a country already dangerously
controlled by certain elements within the Ministry of the Interior (the
national police, to name but one) will probably be a police state within
two years. ID checks, already widespread (and mainly illegal, despite
an 'urban myth' believed by 95% of the French population, that the
police can check your ID without reason. They can't, even if they do in
practice), will target ethnic minorities and immigrants. The
thirty-five hour week has been criticised by many on the left and the
right. The problem is that many on the left and the right are as thick
as fucking shit rammed into the neck of a beer bottle, and it terrifies
me that these cretins have the right to vote. The thirty-five hour week
created a million jobs, but the right claims that it cost jobs, and the
media (most of whom are owned by the right-wing magnates) perpetuate
this myth. Sarkozy cancelled the beat cops in housing estates, even
attacking a few cops who were playing football with immigrant youths,
saying, 'we don't pay you to be social workers'. The result was a
twofold increase in delinquancy, and the riots of 2005 that you all saw
on your television screens. But no one mentions what Sarkozy has done
to France. I have heard people say, 'Sarko says what he's going to do,
and he does it!' All I can say is ROFLM*FUCKING*AO!! The man makes
promise after promise, after promise, and none is kept. Like when a
police station in a suburb was torched, he turned up hours later,
surrounded by thirty or so armed '~Special Branch' cops, and said,
'you'll get more manpower, I promise!' They never did, but the media
    'forget' this.

I never finished my 'tangent' of a few hours ago. The school I teach in
is surrounded by barbed wire fences three metres high. There are two
security posts, manned during school hours, the guards being paid by the
Consistoire de Paris. They've just installed installing eight
surveillance cameras, and to get in, you need to show ID, and the first
couple of times, you're searched; as is your bag. I often go out into
the playground and watch the children playing, as I love the sound of
children laughing, and I occasionally look at the barbed wire fences
surrounding us. Because we're Jewish. Go to Paris's main Synagogue,
and what do you see ? A coachload of 'CRS' (riot police) stationed
outside 24 hours a day. Go to my Synagogue on any of the main Jewish
holidays (Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippour etc), and you'll see armed
policemen at both ends of the street, and private security guards at the
door. When I go to Madrid in July, I'm going to have to go and show ID
at the Synagogue there, or I won't get in on Shabbat [1]. All because
    we're Jewish.

We live in a climate of fear and hatred.

I have this very, _very_ fetching pupil, who's eighteen. Definitely the
foxiest in the whole school. A cross between Natalie Portman and well,
Natalie Portman. Friday morning, I have two hours with that bunch of
ill-mannered reprobates, from 11:15 until 13:00, and as soon as I
arrived, she .. let's call her Myriam, showed me the campaign 'flyer'
that she had, with Sarko's face on it, which she then proceeded to kiss.
I'm like, 'gimme that, you dumb cow!' (I paraphrase), and I confiscated
it. 'Why do you want to vote Sarko?' I asked (strictly speaking, she
turned 18 too late to vote). 'Because he's Jewish!' she cried.

'Oh **** me...' I groaned. His claim to be Jewish is a bit iffy to
begin with, but for ****'s sake, voting for some **** because he's
Jewish? Would the dumb bitch have been snogging a photo of H****r, if
he'd been born to a Jewish mother?

Still ... my fate is sealed. I'll be out of France within 18 months.

On the face of it, I have little to fear. I'm white, Jewish,
more-or-less middle classish, I dress reasonably well, and as from ten
pm this evening, Lag B'omer ends and I can shave (thank ****!) and
therefore look a bit less like a hippy.

But I don't envision living in a country where distrust and hatred take
    over from compassion and humanity.

France is about to get anally raped.

I'm going to take pleasure in slapping the fucking faces of the retarded
cunts who voted for that neo-fascist, and who will be the first to
whinge, 'What?? The police can intern me without trial??!! How
    shocking!!'

<SLAP!> 'I tried to tell you, you fucking retarded muppet, but would
    you listen??'

    Rant over. For now.

    D.

Three words and he lands one.

You're my latest Idol. TOG might post something later that relegates
you to second place but until then you're up there with the greats.

    Des,
Hope you get over your little tantrum soon.
Isn't it a bit hypocricital of you to praise the French political system
based on Liberty, Equality, Fraternity and the Guillotine?
You really shouldn't be criticizing your adopted fellow countrymen
or lusting over your pupils; that might lead to deportation in the
    new 'police state.'

Last time I heard the same predicitions was in 1981: the Reds were
coming, it was time to leave the country.
Gstaad might be a good place to go: Johnny Halliday will be wanting rid
    of a "flat", I suspect...

  17. And yet 1981 marked the beginning of the Golden Age in France.

I doubt that this time around, it will be similar.

You have advertised your 'chez.com' site several thousand times on ukrm.
I only mentioned it to point out your hypocrisy in complaining about
Brunstrom's use of a photograph of a corpse when you have several photos
of freshly killed people on your website.
