Well done Charders.

Some months. Time period indeterminate but she had already been going to
the IAM for a while before she told me. Could me 6 months. Or more. Or
less. But 'a few short weeks' is way off the mark.
Why? Have they posted about how unconfident they are and asked our
    advice?
    True..

Talking to her a while back I'd agree..

That said she really should stick to cars - she's put that purple
anodised shit all over a perfectly good motorcycle and my lord does it
look completely gash, for that atrocity alone she obviously doesn't
deserve to ride a 2 wheeled machine of any kind.

    says...
Aot more than a few short weeks, she's been doing IAM training for most
    of the year.
I doubt anyone could ever accuse Donna of that, she's very aware that
she's still got alot more to learn.
Not everyone has the same degree of lack of confidence that Donna had,
    it's very different for her.

Because if the person had been (a) male, or (b) not female, neither you
nor Lozzo would have given enough of a **** to post in defence of the
    IAM. HTH.

Tho I'm a little surprised at Lozzo, he usually only attempts to stand
    up for women he's shagging...

Simian wibbled like a little girl...
I'm not posting in defence of the IAM, just pointing out the blatant
hypocrisy apparent in this particular case.
I'm a changed man since I've not been shagging anyone :)

The point you're missing is that the warm, cuddly, birthday-thread mentality is not
    welcome here.

Taking the piss, that's what UKRM does. If it can be done subtly,
wittily, or styishly, so much the better.

    Bugger. And I thought you'd kill-filed me.

And, as an aside, you know not of which you speak, [1] I know what Donna
has gone through to achieve this. You don't. The fact that she is
female has **** all to do with it.

[1] And don't try to tell me otherwise, because I *do* know, in more
    ways than one. [2]

[2] Don't be getting any saucy ideas, not *those* ways.

Hah! Even the 'taking the piss' mentality has been lacking of late, as
people seem to get upset at the slightest thing.

I'm actually happy being ginger, I took about 18 years of crap for
having ginger hair, so now, to abandon it now would be a waste of so
    many years of abuse.

If I woke up tomorrow with brown hair I'd have to dye it back ginger.
Really I would, it's more *me* that way.

Now, if I woke up with purple annodised things all over my bike I'd
    probably cry.

Would that mean you'd end out like Cilla Black with a different shade
    every week.
    Hmm.

I am, I'm 29. That said, people didn't really start taking the piss
until I was 6, and by the time I was 24 no-one could come up with
anything original, so it hardly constitutes abuse.
