My Givi top case needs to have it's bracket repaired ( welded ), if
anyone knows someone that can/will do this type of job, can you contact me?
    Thanks!
Here is a picture of the two pieces:

Wish I could see that, so we could compare notes.

GF's Givi side bags' bracket sheared right off - bags werent even
attached, just the Wingrack.. The fantastic design allowed the entire
assembly to pivot downward - straight towards the chain. Fortunately
the passenger pegs were still installed & caught the whole mess
from..making a real mess. Guess who's not running Givi bags anymore -
at least not with lousy Givi brackets.

One more project for the welder I've yet to purchase..

Sounds like you may be in need of one of those T-shirts that say "If you can
read this, the bitch must have fallen off". ;-)

I used Weiss Welding at 1237 Folsom St. a few years back for a
    small project. No complaints.

    [Givi Bags]
I actually do too, I'm just disappointed in the bike-specific
    bracketry.

The bags are cool, the generic mounting system is cool, but it seems
like they drop the ball when it comes to actually fitting that stuff to
a specific m/c. Nice sturdy piece to mate up to the bag, but keeping
THAT piece on the bike is the challenge.
Seems to me you'd want that piece overbuilt, not a thin strip of
    steel..

Well, she's sworn off those bags, since the 'incident', so now I get to
put them on my Monster. No brackets for that application currently
exist, so I'm on my own, there, anyway.
