Spent this afternoon doing the Norfolk and Suffolk RBR landmarks.

Everywhere I went, the roads were awash with rain water, but the only
rain that fell on me was for around 90 seconds as I left Felixstowe.

Poor old bloke on a ZXR1100 I met at the wheelwright's oven in East
Walton had experienced almost the opposite, judging by his gloves.

The stump of the cross to mark the battle site from the Peasant's
revolt looks a bit sorry for itself, I must say.

Luckily I caught the ladies of the Felixstowe Tourist Office, just as
they were locking up. Apparently lots of people on motorbikes have
been asking about the bench made from sea defences. :)

Still, I got another 300-odd miles out the front tyre before it gets
replaced this week. I'm switching to Avons, and am prepared to blame
Lozzo if I don't like them.

    Already got one. £20, iirc.

They're the "old" ones, apparently - 41/42 is the current choice,
    apparently.

The rear isn't due for replacement for a few thousand, yet, mind.

  5. I run Azaro AV46STs on my RT. Excellent tyres with >10K miles from the
rear and an expectation of >13K miles from the front. Avon's tyre
pressure recommendations strike me as rather high, however: 36
front/42 rear whether solo, with pillion or fully loaded.

    (Paul Varnsverry) struggled to ejaculate:
I have the 45/46ST on the RF, which have proved excellent thus far. I
run the same pressures as you, which in turn are the same as I used to
run 020s on the Bandit 12, which were recommended by Bridgestone.
