  1. Tring to shepherd his antique Morini 350 Sport through stalled London
rush-hour traffic in the recent mini heatwave. Ho, ho, ho.

Would that have been when I filtered past you when you were sitting
behind a bus on London Bridge? Hmmm?

I've been commuting on it since it came out of winter hibernation 3 or
4 weeks ago, like I have for the last 8 years. Most weeks I use it for
the commute at least twice, if the weather's nice. It's *much*
easier to get through traffic on the 350 than the Speed Trip! It's a
cracking little bike. You ought to get one.

That one was a decent basis for a restoration, but it needed tearing
down. Get a decent 350 and you'll soon forget all about that one. You
can always have a go of mine.

I could see that some of his 'restoration' involved putting stainless
steel fasteners on. It was only when I started delving inside the engine
etc that I discovered the ghastly truth.

    Restored, really? Blimey.

One mans "restoration" is another mans thinly disguised bodge, as I've
    discovered with ye olde Triumph.
