  4. I thought I was nuts for fixing up my bike but I had to at least clean it up
to sell it. Now that I have it running and looking great, I am going to just
keep riding it. It only took me a little under 3 months.

  5. I see. So you are a troublemaker. :)>)
Probably OK but I would go back and tell them what they wanted to hear.
    Bureaucrats are like that.

Maybe I avoided that whole issue by having a clear title to begin with.
Went to the DMV with title, handed them $150 dollars and walked out with
some papers, a piece of tin and a sticker. Then I could get the bike
"inspected". What a joke. Horn, lights, mirrors, tires, and brakes. The
front forks could be bent, rims twisted and have 1/2 a handlebar and it
would pass. My son applied to Wells Fargo for a loan for his MC and the
idiots they have working there couln't even verify the VIN. After
spending 2 hours with those bozos, he told them to forget it and took out
a line of credit. Don't ever try to get a loan from Wells. I had a worse
    experience with that alleged bank.

States want stuff titled in their own state. I can't figure that one out.
I had a clear title from one state but I had to surrender it so that
could send me another piece of paper. It is all quite ridiculous.

God help you if you buy a car in one state and bring it to Texas. You
will probably have to pay the inappropriate sales tax as if you bought it
    in Texas.
