I don't follow. How does evangelism come into this?

I've two words for most evangelists, the second is off. I've no problem
with AIDS, HIV and/or homosexual people. Shaking their hands did not
achieve anything for anyone other than Diana Princess of Wales.

When you get sick, you usually need help, not your hand shaken. We do
not need to improve our approach to people with HIV - and other
disadvantaged groups - nearly as much as we need to help them. Someone
once said, "enough of talking, it is time now to do." So it is.

The British are great at telling people their approach must change. Two
years ago we were told 25% of us suffer mental illness, and we had to
improve our approach to them, accept them and so on.

But when it comes to money and mouth, the British are usually nowhere to
be seen. Of course, it's expensive to fund mental health treatment for
one quarter of the UK population, ca. 15 million people. Clever trick,
eh?
