    [Avebury]
    good for you.

I was somewhat surprised that Champ thought I'd be up for a 220 mile
round trip not to have a beer.

You want to see the size of MY cock. Because when I waggle my willy you
want to stand back. Or laugh.

    I left rush hour Brighton at 17:36 [1] went via A283 > A 272 > A34 > A4
    [2] arrived Avebury 19:30 [3]. 121 miles.

A very pleasant chat and evening. Wish I'd listened to Uncle Champ when
he said the burgers weren't that special.

I also wish I'd had a go on Platy's drifter now I know what one looks
    like.

Apparently a girl liked me but according to those that saw she was
deformed. Not sure if this is good or bad.

As for comedy bits falling off the Guzzi, (it's only recently started
this and only when Ogden's near it). The rear light failed but a bit of
wire wiggling later it came on again. The culprit? A bodge from 8 years
ago as a result of my enthusiastic use of side cutters whilst removing
    the police spec wiring.

Oh, and my number plate fell off.

It didn't actually fall off but the 2 week old bendy plate from MAL
plates doesn't bend, it cracks across its width, flaps about and would
probably fall off in a few more miles if I hadn't put it in my satchel.
Which I carry for such eventualities. They want to forensicaly examine
it before giving me another. Hey Ho. Out with the cardboard and magic
    marker it is.

[1] That's the time I paid for my petrol in Hove.
[2] The A4 really is quite wide.
[3] Witnessed by Platy, he also witnessed me letting go of the clutch
whilst still in gear in a pub car park crowded with be-leathered sports
bike riders. How cool is that?

I really don't, thanks all the same.
it's not brave, it's stupid, Simon.
good or bad that she was deformed, or that you didn't see her?
they probably thought you were going to put it on a motorbike, rather
    than a tractor.

The section of the A4 between Newbury and Marlborough is also policed
heavily, albeit sporadically. Ride with care. I steer well clear.

Avebury is somewhat more local to you and Dan and Neal than it is for
    me, you see.

I followed Wik and his GPS from Reading Services to Didcot.

On that basis, I reckon we'd have covered about the same distance. And
with Dan leading from Didcot to Avebury, you'd probably have got there
    first.

Dan said he got home in 30 minutes - it would take me at least 90.

And from the moment you got your tail light to work, my tacho ceased to
    be illuminated.

The gremlims hopped from bike to bike, I reckon.

Which is another reason I didn't go terribly fast on the A4 - I just think a
known biking night is asking for trouble.

As it was, no actual Plod (AFAIK) but there were several sets of speed lines
    [1] out on the road.

[1] the two lines across the road that I think measure average speed.

nah - that's just the conservation of mass/energy.

Not denying it - as alluded to elsewhere I was just not happy on the bike
    yesterday.
