Very... And to add to the fun, added to by total fuckwits low down who
don't understand the (for example) version 10.00.05 is likely to be older
    than version 10.03...
It's the only way... Heard about the penetration testing the other
weekend? How we laughed. I'll tell you off line sometime what fun that
generated in a secret let's not tell anyone sort of way...
    That's how they work...

If I were in your situation I think I'd have given in to my
principles[1] and gone to Gatwick from Clapham Jct.

My mother's plan once suffered a bull strike. It was, to be fair, parked in
    a field.

Four inches overnight and still building. Bristol airport closed.
Village cut off, weather man gets it wrong, no grit or salt.

Lip. Athough alternatives are, of course, acceptable. The important
thing, to quote an old Footlights, is to "keep it stiff, keep it
    upper".

I've had enough of this snow. Yesterday was a nightmare getting to
Windsor on time for a funeral.

And South West Trains had better be able to get me from Bracknell to
    Twickenham tomorrow, or, or, or...

    Oi! We're both at home.

On reflection, it's probably more "because we can't be arsed" than
"because of the snow", although Mrs WUN did prove that the Yaris is far
from an ideal cross country missile in the snow earlier.

It is *still* snowing heavily here, by the way.

Surely Mendips should be rhyming slang for the cure, not the ailment.

"My Chalfonts were giving me gyp, but I took some Mendips and they
    relieved the pain somewhat".

The last time I used a car to go to an airport it was Stansted, and I
had a 5 minute bus ride from the car park. The last time I flew, it was
from Luton and I had a 5 minute bus ride from the station. In fact,
given the location of the bus stop at Luton Parkway, the Stansted by car
    experience actually involved more walking.

OTOH the gritters were out in force yesterday evening in Plymouth and all
we've had is a billion litres of rain. Lots of snow in the rest of the
    county though. Apparently.

Excellent. I was slightly put off such arrangements by the experience of
my old boss when he tried to fly out to visit us at the 'chateau' a
couple of years ago. He turned up at the outfit he had booked his car in
to for the full park and chauffeur driven ride bit, only to find that
they had gone out of business.

Allegedly, they had been caught working various scams, including being
suspected of using the other customers' cars for the chauffeuring.

Remember to note your odometer reading ;-)

If everyone started acting nicely none of this would be needed.

If, when you arrived at the airport, you gave your car to someone who has
just landed back, you would pay no parking. When you get back from your
hols, someone who if just leaving can give you their car.

Next week I explain how bees can be used to alter the weather.
