Was a bit of a twat today.

We set out in lovely sunshine for a belt up Saddleworth moor. Got out of
town and onto the moors and ran straight into fog. Not a sign of it, then
"wham", we're in it and we bloody well STAYED in it for a good half hour.
Cold it was too. And fucking "damp"

Decided the route back would be via Rochdale and a brew at one of the pals.
Back on the bike and a short trip to home, whereupon the sun beat down
mercilessly as soon as we arrived. ****! No option but to go back out again,
    so that's what we did.

The last hour was absolutely wonderful, but we were too late for a **** off
big meal at Rivington, so the wife unit has gone shopping for some massive
steaks. I've fired up the barbie.

And the best bit? I didn't have to sit and watch follow the cunting leader
    on telly.

I rode back to Nott'm from the Peak district this morning. The cloud
was *very* low. Quite thick in places but fine if you stayed below it.

I thought we'd get above the clouds today, but it wasn't to be.

Hit a bit of the damp stuff going up to Silsden for my club meeting. Had
my rather inadequate postman pat goretex overtroos on. Big gary was giving
away a pair of Rukka PVC/Nylon quilt lined salopettes to the quickest
bidder. These kept me very warm and dry on the way home. :)

Blimey, that's some network latency problem you've got there.

    Spiffing, ta.

LOL! Mostly in the neural network. Just got back from sunny spain and have
a day to waste on usenet. Anything exciting happened while I've been away?
