Bugger now I'll have to wear my old Arai lid, with clear visor, to
    cancel it out.

  12. Yes, there's some starting to show up now -- it's not quite real-time.

What's it doing between the storms? Over here it's been alternating
between thundery showers/storms and bright sunshine, with temperatures
in the high 20s when the rain has passed.

Yesterday I went into Basel and wore long trousers and a mountain
jacket - arriving home two and a bit hours later it was so hot I had
to open the conservatory before going in the pool to cool off.

  14. And North Wiltshire..

It's also raining like a re-run of Noahs Flood.

  15. It's quite bright and scattered showers here now, just 90 minutes
after a ferocious thunderstorm. The radar picture gives heavy rain just
to our north though. blitzortung's gone a bit funny -- the Europe map
isn't showing anything newer than 40 minutes ago; the Belgian map suggests
the lightning activity has moved into Germany.
I just spent three weeks in Geneva where the weather was about
    that unpredictable.

I was sitting watching the golf when a load of water came pissing out
of the light fitting above my head. This was somewhat concerning and
I'm not sure I've ever moved more quickly. Turns out my housemate had
left her window open and in the 5 minutes it was raining her bathroom
filled up to a depth of about an inch.

The circuit breaker tripped so I've abandoned house for the moment.
Trying to decide whether to get someone in to make sure the house is
safe or just wait until it's dry before turning stuff back on again.

It's been raining here steadily since at least 6am, and probably more
like 2 or 3am when there was a thunderstorm. Got wet enough in a 2 min
    walk to the car.

I AM FUCKING FED UP WITH THIS RAIN!!!!!!!!!
