Weak willed

I must have been feeling particularly weak willed when I let Burnt
goad me into spending more of my hard earned money on toys. I
shouldn't complaining because I pointed him towards his Kawasaki
outfit and that was a real pile of poo.

I appear to bought a Watsonian Palma sidecar for my K100. I know I've
already got a sidecar waiting for me to find time to fit it but this
one has the required subframe thrown in as part of the deal and all
the brackets, wiring etc are ready to bolt on.

It's a bit bigger than the Wessex chair I've already got but that just
means I can carry more junk to Germany in it and being designed a
child/adult sidecar I might be able to goad Jennifer into strapping
    the sprog into it.

Anyone want to buy a reasonably good condition Wessex chair? Googling
will find links to photos and I'd want about £150 from someone on here
because that's about what it owes me with the purchase price and fuel
    for when I collected it.

Haven't you still got that old BMW? You could fit the Wessex chair on
it with a bit of messing about and be able to have nice family days
    out with T and horse.

Was it not the Spagthorpe Basenji that featured two sidecars, one on
    either side?

A modern reinterpretation of that with a 10R in the middle would be a
    sight to behold.

We laugh at your feeble attempt to engender any sort of interest.

You're an ungrateful fucker aren't you?

I've got to sort out collecting the new one because I'm off at 6am for
another 13 day stint at the power station but once it's here I'll be
able to fit it over a weekend and then you're sorted for a lift to
    Chimay.

I look on it as a way of paying back some of the debt I owe him for
letting me ride his bikes for a couple of seasons worth of endurance
    racing.

Once that's done all he has to do is a couple of laps of the Island
as bitch on Alex Ferrier's GS and he's clear.

The Wessex is that 70s-looking bubble-canopy horror, isn't it?

That's one way to describe it. I prefer to think of it as being
'different' to most other sidecars out there.

I think it's the sort of thing you'd hang off the side of an early GS850.

That'd be the perfect bike to fit it to. As ever, you've shown
yourself to be a man of taste when it comes to the finer points of
    motorcycling.

When did you buy a GS850?

Was that the near-silent one with the huge silencer? Caused huge
    numbers of pedestrian 'incidents'.

Sorry, it's the wrong colour and would clash with the VFR.

Looks like a nice match for Eddie's Elefant though.
