Weather too bad to trailer? That's some bad weather alright.

There were a couple of us from this NG that went to the Hot Springs
    rally, weather be damned.

It got a bit hairy riding around late Saturday night, but I still
    enjoyed the trip.

===Good for you. You old Harley riders, are tough asses. However
would you have rode away from you carport, in a fairly hard rain, with
20plus mph wind, and the forcast was, ''all day, and
''worser''..through the night''. ? I rectum you were already in
HotSprings Saturday morning. Good to hear from ya on our little
group. Dont stay away so long, we need your humorous self around here,
    we do I am-Serious- MrJayT=

I'm gonna go out on a limb here, and guess that Wakko has a radio or tv
or something, and had a pretty good idea what the forecast for Saturday was.

Well, when I met Wakko & Mouse I kinda had the impression that
    hurricanes
would be afraid to mess with Wakko. He's not what you might call a
    little
guy. Great big guy, great big smile.

You really didn't miss much. The concerts were pretty good, but
attendance was way down and many vendors left early or didn't come at
    all this year.

True, but I was pleasently suprised to see it all clear out by the
next day. The weather for Sunday's ride home was perfect.

I didn't have a problem, but the Mouse was flapping in the wind
clutching frantically to my jacket tails.

I wudda thought you would have just stuck her in a jacket pocket.
After careful consideration when we met I concluded that she
weighed about the same as your shadow.

==really. reckon the big, bad old storm had anythang to do with the
attendance. shirley not. This one (Rally) was the first in eight years
    that our bunch missed.
Had I been riding solo, I'd probably considered the endurement, but with
my ''precious'' cargo aboard....well.....''caused me to use better
    judgement''......MrJayT= <g>

=========Biffb, ''my point was'', if I had already been in HotSprings
    Saturday morning, that'd been ideal.
-Mr Bum, good point about wakko being a big'un, that probably makes a
big difference when riding in ''some pretty good wind and rain''.
I am not too big, anymore......getting smaller with age, you?
My coPilot, Honey, says when I get to where I cannot hold up the big old
    Valkyrie, that's when we''ll get a GWTrike....hehe!
