350 miles from Galveston, and we had a significant uh'mount of damage.
Personally luckily my vicinity missed any ''power failure.''
But about 4,000 others around town, were out for 3 to 4 days. Trees were
knocked down all around. I am covered with good sized trees, but they
held up, and withstood H.Ikes fury.
'H.Ike did keep us from riding to the Hot Springs Rally, though. It is
not a smart thang, to ride away from ones carport, in 20 mph wind, and
in a 100% amount of rain, as it was Saturday morning here, 150 miles
    from the annual Rally event.
I'm glad I live this far north of the coast......MrJayT=
