Wax?

This morning I left the house as usual, wandered over to the bike, aimed the
key at the slot and found the top of the ignition barrel covered in wax.

So wtf was that all about, eh?

.... the bike will be gone tomorrow ;o)

Someone tried to steal your bike.
Or maybe they tried to fill the lock with wax so you couldn't start it.

 

Some fell off the corner of that bit of newspaper that Lucretia scanned last
Thursday.

Your bike has been given a seal of approval.

 

If you've sprayed alot of WD40 on the ignition, that can leave a waxy
deposit.

 

Time to buy some more cotton buds.
