Do other people in the UK wave legs too?

It's just envy. Live with it.
    Well yes, that too.

    Huh?
I was very nearly caught out once when a car moved left as though he'd seen
me and then promptly swung round to do a completely illegal u-turn.

Unfortunately there is no accounting for wankers.

Mind you, I'd be surprised if that happened on the M1.

Rule #1 - All car drivers are potentially wankers
Indeed - but I did have a 750 written off by a sudden lane changer on the M1

Or why twats drive in the outside lane of urban dual carriageways - just
so that you don't overtake them

Yeah, I do that, but it's more as an invitation to go past and let the
biker know that I know he's there than anything else - worship is
    optional

Overtake them on the inside then.

    Inside, outside, any side really.

I also don't often see people getting worked up, on my daily commute I
would guess >20 cars actively get the **** out of my way in 40 miles of
motorway. Actually I think Car drivers are less fucking hassle than
other bikes. Fortunately there aren't that many other bikes around.

I can see what you mean - most of the cars going into work sit happily
in the lanes but the bikes are a bit of an unknown quantity.

Most don't move forward from the stop line at lights to let you (and
any other followers) get to the front, and the vast majority won't go
for gaps that I would. Either I'm more agressive at filtering than I
thought, or the 10R really is narrow.
