No probs. I'm away for work at the moment, but if Tim doesn't want
them, then I'll mail you at the weekend.

I've got a pair, have done about 70,000 miles in them and they've just
started to leak but leak means a thimbleful over the bridge of foot
after about an hour of torrential rain.

I bought a cheapish pair of boots from Lozzo's ex company (Nitro) and they
haven't ever let a drop of water in and they've been ridden in THE most
horrible weather imaginable. A three day thunderstorm and I rode just over
2000 miles in it (it fucking followed me) and arrived with dry tootsies.

That's pretty good going when you consider that all Nitro boots
available then weren't sold as waterproof.

I'm more than a little impressed with these boots Loz. Like I said, never
let a drop of water in [1], they're warm enough to use through the winter
with just a 2nd pair of thin socks on and they're bloody comfortable to walk
in. Just one gripe about a part of the boots "digging in", but a fold of
bubble wrap between the boot and the offended ankle sorted it.

[1] Particularly, as you say, they were never advertised as waterproof.

Thanks for the offer, but I've got a bit of a wide foot so I typically
have to try several shoes before I can find one that fits. Gutted
really, because I can never purchase shoes over the internet. If the
shop will take mine back I'll "try" for a pair of Sidi Black Rains.
Unfortunately it can be a bit of pot luck if they fit or not. Sounds
like the Daytona's are a boot to look out for when I'm a little more
established and don't have all the up front costs.
    Thanks,

    Tim

The shop I bought them off took them back without any argument. Not
only that, but they didn't have any Sidi Rains Blacks Evo in my size.
So they did the next model up (not sure of the name, but has the Gortex
lining) for the same price as the Rains Blacks. Not bad customer
    service at all.

They said I was the first to return the Diadora Cruise boots. Hopefully
they're dry for everybody else as they're a comfy boot in a budget(ish)
    price range.

Thanks for the advice. Next pair of boots may be Daytonas, but I'm
currently out laying too much for them to be a starter boot.

    Regards,

    Tim
