Water cooled mopeds in the 70s

    I seem to recall there being a water-cooled "sports moped" in the 70s -
    European or Eastern bloc possibly - anyone here know for sure?

    ....and it wasn't a moped.

    And don't forget the RD80LC, too. But that wasn't a moped either.

    I hate to say this and admit to being a really sad bastard, but yes, I
    do.

    The Zundapp KS50 is probably what you're thinking of. Watercooled, disc
    braked....

    Thanks - I had Zundapp and Kreidler as possibles. I think MCN (or
    Motorcycle Weekly) did a road test of it and it was probably the fastest
    50 in practical terms of its day.

    Kreidler's Florett was a hot little performer. Fan-cooled, I think.
