    They speed traps on road.

I don't know what's going on but there seems to be a larger than
normal police presence on the M5 around the Michaelwood services.
There have been several bikes and cars loitering on the hard shoulder
and what looks like 2 spe^H^Hsafety camera vans on one of the bridges.

In the afternoon not the morning though, lazy buggers.

Probably one of the tax/insurance blitzes.

Toddling on my way to work this morning, I thought I'd better be careful where
they tried to nick me last week. Cheeky f*ckers were parked up there with
at least 4 bikes and one motor.

  4. Only one motor between 4 bikes? Did they take turns accelerating or
    something?

I wonder if they still play Snooker with their prospective victims - red
car, then (if red is successfully nicked for something), Snooker colour,
then red again, and so on until they fail to do somebody for something.
Tot up the break score, then it is the turn of Plod 2.

that would explain why I've been nicked in a red BMW & a black Mazda yet my
    yellow bikes have been ignored.

I do wonder myself if this is an Urban legend or if there is really
    something to it.
(Purple Volvo so I fly under their radar.)
