An article appears this morning on the webpage of TMRA II.. Another of the
great ones, who I haven't mentioned very much lately posted an article that
sent shivers of delight and anticipation all over me.. Dean Maltsberger, who
is also one of the district advisors for TMRA II posted the article.. Every
motorcycle enthusiast in Texas should look it up and read it carefully..

Dean attended the meeting in Elgin, last Saturday..I've been around this
Warrior on many occasions and various events or activities which he is
involved in.. My admiration and respect for this man, is immense.. Many
times .. Dean has stood alone and fought for issues of motocyclist rights
against partisan odds that were awesome.. I watched while he won some and
lost a few.. His courage is remarkable and demands respect from one and
all.. Even the partisan opponents respect Dean..

Our old warhorse chairman, Sputnik, Dean Maltsberger, Mike Alvey, Elmer
McKeegan and too many others to name, have virtually declared the intent of
TMRA II, to take the "Bread and Butter issues" that confront us all, onto
the floor of our Legislature, in January..

The challenges that TMRA II will pose to our legislators will make the
difference of how we will weather the next four years of our government..
The supporters who will have their backs during those challenges, can be
assured that the support will be effective..

Let there be no doubt, all of these old Warriors represent each and every
one who rides a motorcycle in Texas.. Their work affects even those who do
not ride.. Sputnik, Dean, Mike, Elmer and all the rest have the courage to
stand up.. Love this Nation.. and defend the freedoms that our democracy
represents.. Regardless of political affiliations, these Warriors fight for
all of us .. See you all in Austin, come January..

    Your friend in Irving
