I've just become the proud (?) owner of a pair of '83 model GPz750s.
They're in need of a little TLC, and because I'm a man who likes to be told
how to **** things up rather than just guessing, I'm after a service manual
    for them -- preferably factory.

So, any aus.motons got one sitting in their bookshelf, in the shed
somewhere, or even (joy of frantabulous joys) on electronic media? I'm more
than willing to pay sensible amounts of money, if that's an incentive to go
    and find it.

Also, if anyone happens to have a part number book or fiche for this model
    I'd be quite interested.

Well done, i hope they serve you well.

A useful place to look up kawasaki bike bits is www.buykawasaki.com it has all the fiche's
online and the part numbers as well. The only thing i find it useless for is doing a VIN search.

Check the VIN's on the bike though, they should start with ZX750A1 or something similar
(zx750a? was the GPZ, zx750f-> was the gpx 750, at least from what i can make of the
    diagrams they have online.

I couldn't find the part number for the manual, and the manuals tab had "no manuals available"
if bikebandit doesn't have the raw fiche for you, then i recommend you look at the following forums

    www.karc-au.com
    http://gpzrider.lagemann.org/
    http://www.gpz750.us/
http://www.thekwaksownersclub.co.uk/ (i think they want a membership fee for all but the most basic access to the site thou)
    http://www.gpzclub.sportbiker.com/
    http://gpzridersaustralia.com/forum/portal.php

There's another couple of links i have at work, but coldn't find them in a 5 min search here.
If i remember i'll reply with a couple more links tomorrow after i fwd them to myself at home from work.

  4. I suggest, as well as the other suggestions, also asking a few questions
on the KSRC form (see my sig below).
There's a couple of guys on that forum that appear to know more than is
healthy about those older bikes - and I vaguely recall someone mentioning
    having the manuals.
    It's worth a shot anyway...
