    Pixies on the scrounge ...

The infamous Rat came to us with no fuel tap whatsoever, the original
tank having had a tap attached to the it and the ZXR tank which is
currently in residence has two take-offs to run to a frame-mounted tap
but both hoses meet at a T-piece which then runs to the carbs.
Life would be a lot easier with a proper main/reserve tap, obviously.

Does anybody out there have a suitable tap which is surplus to
requirements that you could stick in the post in exchange for a
beer-token sized cheque? Size and appearance immaterial, as it will
be molished into place wherever it will fit and painting is a
    certainty in any case.

    Fanks ;-)

With two old sockets welded to the end, or they cut the pipe. :)

Turning it off isn't a problem Alan. Finding some way to access a
reserve is the problem ... otoh ... two pipes, the reserve brutally
closed but openable when needed would be a way forward ...

Reserve running through a long rubber pipe which is folded over and stuffed
in a gap betwixt frame and tank to block it until needed...?

Might be fun trying to find it whilst on the move mind you... so piece
of string from pipe to somewhere on the bars. Voila! Pull cord reserve
    tap :)
