My mate Murf is looking for something cheap and cheerful he can leave
outside his front door and use for commuting, rather than spend half an
hour digging his 748 SP out of the shed every time he wants to ride. A
high mileage CBR600, early ZX6R etc or similar will do nicely, and he's
not expecting anything immaculate for the top line of a grand that he's
    willing to spend. ER5s, CB500s and suchlike are a no-no, something a
little bit more sporty would be ideal.

Anybody got or know of anything suitable?

    TIA

  6. I suppose a GSX600FL wouldn't be sporty enough?

  8. Thundercat. Good for 50MPG in general usage, very comfy and sporty
    with it. And DIRT cheap.

  11. Whatever I can get. It's on SORN at the moment so needs a bit of
work. Unused "new" braided brake lines need bleeding, carbs could do with a
clean, choke cable is frozen, battery[x2] may or may not still hold a
charge. It was reliable enough when I rode it every day, but since I now
live 600 metres away from work it gets zero use.
