So I rode it to work, as it's a tad more comfy than the loaner
1150RS. That's two bikes in a row with I got through the MOT on the
first attempt. Got to be a record.

Now, anybody wants to *buy* a VFR, fresh MOT, much cheapness? UKRM price
1150, and for UKRMers I'll even throw in another six months tax as tax
is running out at the end of the month.

Takes one to recognise one, eh?
It is pretty tidy, although it does show some signs of having been
ridden through the winter if you know where to look. But for 41k on the
    clock it's quite decent.

    Well, ummm...
It looks in better nick than my 18-month-old, 18000 mile VFR800 did when
    I sold it.

I haven't seen your bike so I can't judge it - it does wear its miles
well but I'd say not *that* well if you know where to look.

It does have some scratches on the fairing, the usual paint damage on
the fork and on the panel behind the front wheel that you just get with
    high mileage bikes.

That said, it wasn't particularly tarted up for the photos. I just gave
    it a pre-MOT wash...

Was that the black one you pointed out in Kawasaki Newcastle that
time? I think I remember it looking slightly, erm , tired.

Yeah, that's the one. It sat there for bloody ages, until the mileage
seemed more reasonable for its age to your average punter.
