    Hi,
I'm looking for information about this bike, the Honda VTZ 250. All
the info I've found on the web is in japanese...
I'm told that this bike sold in the US with another name, is this
    true?
Does anyone knows where I can find the service manual?
    thanks a lot,
    funkaster./

You are probably right, but I wouldn't be surprised if the VTZ250 and
VTR250 engines are more or less the same, along the lines of the Kawasaki
EX250/GPZ250/ZZR250, which have different frames and running gear but
    share the same basic engine.

    well, thanks for that info.
What's your opinion about that bike? I'm just about to buy a 1989 VTZ250
(it's going to be my first bike), someone told me that it was hard to find
the replacements. Other one told me that it was a great bike with smooth
handling and a nice engine, other one told me that it had problems with
    suspension...
I think I'll buy it anyway, because it's really cheap (about US$500) and I
    like the model.

It looks like a great starter bike. If it's in good shape, for only $500
it is probably a good buy... but...

....just make sure that you're willing to scrap it if something major goes
wrong, since there may be huge delays in getting parts, if you can get
them at all, assuming it is not a model officially imported into Chile.

thanks a lot for you help.
I'm not sure if it's an officially imported model, but it's pretty common
to find one or two of them in the used market place.
