    Hi,

I am looking to buy an ART exhaust for the firestorm but before I do -
has anyone had any experience of one on this bike before?

I am wanting something more throaty and a little more... well; loud...
something like a ducati sound.... just not too loud that it is more
than my neighbours can bear each morning and night.

(Also; I do a lot of motorway driving... will this exhaust shout "look
at me" to the police? )

Is there anywhere online that you can listen to differing exhaust
notes for the different bikes? YouTube doesn't seem to have
    anything...

  3. I had one on a bandit if that helps.
    Yup, they do that.
Probably better to buy a Ducati.
You control the loud handle, so that's up to you.
Yes. Unless you pull the clutch in and drop the revs.

I had Quill T3s on mine. Legal, louder than stock (but not anti-
socially so) and well made. I could even believe the claimed BHP
increase. Recommended. They're quite pricey though.

I have a large, old bike that runs on two - for all intents and purposes
    - open megas. It's very loud [1] and I've not been pulled.

It is a twin like the VTR which does sound slightly less gay than a four
having the tits revved off it.

[1] Too loud in my view and it's difficult to ride quietly.
It all smacks of "Listen to me, hear my bike roar. I have a
    very small cock".
