Not for local or parliamentary elections but for my unions NEC.

I've got four votes to use in the ballot for Womens Seats and all the
candidates have the opportunity to make a written statement persuading
    me to vote for them.

What would you want to see in that statement to make you vote for
    that candidate?

Bear in mind that I've got the copies of those statements here in
front of me and I'm hoping your advise will help me choose sensibly...

I can't find any of them claiming to have a nice arse but one of them
wants a pension scheme that takes women pensioners out of poverty. How
about taking all pensioners out of poverty instead?

  5. In the case of seats for women only I would vote for the woman who said
that selection on grounds of gender is wrong and that selection on the
grounds of ability should be the only criteria.
